Course Description and Location
The courses at Kyneton are set in a beautiful bushland setting with an abundance of wildlife. Our feature course (blue) is a par 70 which measures 5832 metres and has a slope rating of 118. For ladies it is a par 71 of 5170 metres and a slope rating of 126.
We have another course (white) of 5547 metres which is also a par 70 with a slope rating of 107 and popular with social groups and ideal for those like golf a bit easier
In a novel innovation Kyneton has a PAR 3 course incorporated within its other courses which is used regularly for special events and normal club competition.
If you want something different for a social, corporate or trade event the Par 3 course is always a winner
How to find us
Kyneton Golf Club is situated just off the Calder Highway near Kyneton which is approximately 1 hours drive from the Melbourne CBD via the divided, dual lane Calder Highway.
To reach the course from Melbourne, leave the Calder Highway at the second Kyneton exit, go around the roundabout and take the exit on to the Kyneton-Heathcote Road. Bypass the freeway entrance back to Melbourne and turn right at the first intersection (Pipers Creek Road).
After about 1 kilometer, turn left at the first intersection (Baynton Road). Proceed along Baynton Road for about 1 kilometer and turn left into Blackhill Road. The golf course is approximately 500 meters on the left.
